A holiday is a number of days per year for which an employer agrees to pay workers while they are not working; a period of exemption from work granted to an employee.

They are predefined annual days which are set for either religious occasions or set by the government such as: Muslims Feasts, Christmas, Easter Sunday, Country’s National Day… etc.

It is a list of the all the annual holidays.

  • Occasion
  • From – To
  • Duration (Day): The total number of holidays.
  • Log Date: The date on which the admin/personnel supervisor added this holiday.
Hint: You can filter by date range.

It is a list of the all the logs that were made in holidays.

Holidays_Logs Tab

  • Actions: The  addition or deletion of a holiday.
  • Start Date: The date on which the holiday starts.
  • Days: The number of holidays.
  • User: The personnel supervisor (Doer).
  • Date: The date and time on which the action/log was made.

To Add Holiday

  1. Click on “+ Holiday” button.
  2. A dialog box will appear.
  3. Fill in the required data.

Hint:

  • Employee’s “Attendance Report” is affected by adding a Holiday to the system.
  • In case the employee worked during a holiday the application will automatically apply the over time policy.
  • You cannot delete a holiday if the salary was generated.
