We have four schemes for attendance:

  • Strict Hours
  • Flex Hours
  • Daily Target Hours
  • Monthly Target Hours

Strict Hours

An attendance scheme that obligates the employee to punch in and out in a specific time (e.g. from 8 am till 5 pm SHARP) or the employee will be subjected to the penalty assigned by the company’s attendance policy.

Flex Hours

An attendance scheme that provides the employee with grace minutes by which he could arrive to work a bit late and/or leave a bit early and still not be subjected to the assigned penalty (e.g. working hours are from 8 am to 5 pm, but the employee is allowed to arrive after 8 am and/or leave before 5 pm). These minutes are predefined by the company’s attendance policy and must be compensated by the employee during the month.

Daily Target Hours

An attendance scheme that fixes a specific number of working hours that the employee has to attend per day. The employee has the right to choose the time of attendance as long as he will fulfill the day’s target (e.g. there is no specific hour for arrival and/or leaving). It is not obligatory for the daily targeted hours to be attended continuously (e.g. In case the daily target is 8 hours, the employee could arrive at 10 am and leave at 1 pm, then arrive again at 5 pm and leave at 10 pm).

Monthly Target Hours

An attendance scheme that fixes a specific number of working hours that the employee has to attend per month. The employee has the right to choose the time of attendance as long as he will fulfill the month’s target (e.g. there is no specific hour for arrival and/or leaving).
