They are the components of the employee’s monthly salary based on all the factors that affect the salary every month such as: overtime, working on weekend, deduction, bonus… etc.

Based on the company’s policy or pay rule, all pay codes vary every month except for the “Salary” it’s always constant.

Hint: Some pay codes are defined by pay rule and others are defined by the company’s policy.

The salary sheet is divided into a group of pay codes. The pay codes are the items by which the employee’s monthly salary is calculated.

To Add Pay Code

  1. Click on “+ Pay Code” button.
  2. A dialog box will appear.
  3. Fill in the required data.

Hint: You cannot delete “Default” pay codes; as they are added by the system. The “User” pay codes can be deleted as long as they are not used.
