Steps

  1. Go to Personnel main menu.
  2. Open “Setup” sub menu.
  3. Select “Attendance Devices”.
  4. Click on “+ Attendance Device” top button.
  5. A dialog box will open.
  6. Write device ID.
  7. Select location.
  8. Write label (in case you need to differentiate between two devices within the same location).
  9. Select device direction:
    • IN = attendance device processes punches as in.
    • OUT = attendance device processes punches punch direction as out.
    • N/A = attendance device does not process define punches; modulus does as per by approximation according to the existing schedule (comparing actual attendance with existing schedule).
  10. Click on “Save”.
  11. Attendance Device is added successfully.
