Steps

  1. Go to Personnel main menu.
  2. Open “Setup” sub menu.
  3. Select “Vacation Types”.
  4. Click on “+ Vacation Type” top button.
  5. A dialog box will open.
  6. Write vacation type name.
  7. Set max successive days.
  8. Set min days before vacation.
  9. Set days before entitlement.
  10. Max relay balance.
  11. Balance reset.
  12. Recharge.
  13. Check boxes:
    • Allow Partial
    • Settle on Layoff
    • Allow Request
      • Require Approve
  14. Vacation Type added successfully.
Definitions

  • Max successive days: max. number of successive days for employee to have from this vacation type.
  • Min days before vacation: min. number of days that employee is allowed to send vacation request.
  • Days before entitlement: number of days that start from employee’s join date, after which he can have balance for this vacation type.
  • Max relay balance: max. number of days to be relayed from current year to next year balance.
  • Balance reset: cycle or none.
  • Recharge: according to balance reset selection.
