{"id":3020,"date":"2017-11-13T14:37:42","date_gmt":"2017-11-13T12:37:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/modulus.help\/kb\/?p=3020"},"modified":"2017-11-19T14:45:55","modified_gmt":"2017-11-19T12:45:55","slug":"main-bulk-import-employees-on-modulus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/modulus.help\/kb\/main-bulk-import-employees-on-modulus\/","title":{"rendered":"Main: Bulk Import Employees on modulus"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"color: #000080;\">Preconditions<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><strong><em>Make sure to avoid some common mistakes:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Duplicate Employee Code (on modulus, or in the uploaded sheet).<\/li>\n<li>Duplicate Direct Head Code (on modulus, or in the uploaded sheet).<\/li>\n<li>Invalid Date Format.<\/li>\n<li>Wrong Location (it must be previously defined on modulus).<\/li>\n<li>\u201cBusiness Email\u201d field must not be empty once the employee has a \u201cUser Name\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Duplicate User Name.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Steps<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Go to Personnel main menu.<\/li>\n<li>Open Employees page.<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/modulus.help\/kb\/employees-listing\/\" target=\"_blank\">Import<\/a>\u201d top button.<\/li>\n<li>Import page will open.<\/li>\n<li>Download sample (CSV or Excel).<\/li>\n<li>Fill in the sample with employees\u2019 data.<\/li>\n<li>Upload the filled sample (CSV or Excel), as per your download choice.<\/li>\n<li>Choose date format; to match the format in the uploaded sample.<\/li>\n<li>Validate your data:\n<ul>\n<li>Yellow rows: includes invalid cells<\/li>\n<li>Red cells: includes wrong data<\/li>\n<li>Green rows = Valid data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u201cBulk New Entries\u201d button appears. In case some data are not predefined on the application. It applies to:\n<ul>\n<li>Departments<\/li>\n<li>Sub Departments<\/li>\n<li>Positions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Delete Invalid Data (One by one or Bulk Delete).<\/li>\n<li>Click on \u201cExport Deleted\u201d (in case you need to import the deleted rows\/data later).<\/li>\n<div class=\"st-alert st-alert-info \">P.S.
