Attendance<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/modulus.help\/kb\/attendance-report-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">attendance<\/a>\u00a0is the actual attended hours by the employee. Modulus adapts for different\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/modulus.help\/kb\/attendance-schemes\/\" target=\"_blank\">attendance schemes<\/a>\u00a0such as:<\/p>\n<div class=\"row\"><br \/>\n<div class=\"column col-half\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Strict:<\/strong>\u00a0Employees are expected to attend and leave in a strict times. In case of any delay, tardiness policy applies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div><br \/>\n<div class=\"column col-half\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Flex:<\/strong>\u00a0Employees are expected to attend in a certain time, but some flex minutes are allowed. These flex minutes\u00a0must be compensated by the employee during the month.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/div><br \/>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"row\"><br \/>\n<div class=\"column col-half\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Daily Target:<\/strong>\u00a0Employees are expected to attend a specific amount of hours during per day.\u00a0If they didn&#8217;t meet the target, policy applies.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Monthly Target:<\/strong>\u00a0Employees are expected to attend a specific amount of hours per month. If they didn&#8217;t meet the target,\u00a0policy applies.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Management by Objectives (MBO):<\/strong>\u00a0Employees are not expected to attend at all. Vacations<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Modulus allows you to dynamically define\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/modulus.help\/kb\/vacation-types\/\" target=\"_blank\">vacation types<\/a>, for each type\u00a0you can define:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Vacation Name<\/strong><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Coverage (%):<\/strong>\u00a0The percent covered by the company. The company can cover a defined\u00a0portion from the vacation days.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Days Before Entitlement:<\/strong>\u00a0Number of days that the employee must spend in the company before asking for this type of vacation.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Max Consumption<\/strong> (Days)<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Balance Reset:<\/strong>\u00a0Whether the balance is reset annually or not.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><strong>Allow Request:<\/strong>\u00a0Whether the employee is allowed to send request from the Self Services module or not.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"color: #0000ff\">5. Shifts and Permissions<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">A\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/modulus.help\/kb\/shift-types-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">Shift<\/a>\u00a0is the working duration that the employee is committed to spend in the company, whether it is attended (i.e. working shift) or non attended (i.e. errand).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/modulus.help\/kb\/permissions\/\" target=\"_blank\">Permissions<\/a>\u00a0are period of time usually between one hour and four hours per month given to the employee as a benefit. Modulus allows ordering permissions from Employee self services and the direct head can approve or reject them without any involvement from the HR department. You may define permissions to be compensated by the employee or not.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #0000ff\">6. Probation Evaluation<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">After the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/modulus.help\/kb\/probation-evaluations\/\" target=\"_blank\">probation<\/a>\u00a0period is over (configurable amount of time) a form appears to the head who selected the candidate and a set of questions (configurable) is asked to him and according to his answer he gives a recommendation either to keep the candidate or sack him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">This is very useful to be able to know who can judge and who can\u2019t from your employees.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #0000ff\">7. Import Attendance Logs<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Real attendance logs can be either imported from attendance sheet, or you can setup direct integration between your attendance device and modulus APIs so that attendance logs are automatically reflected to corresponding attendance reports.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"color: #0000ff\">8.
